Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research on quantum error correction (QEC) theories and algorithms, including simulation and optimization of encoding and decoding schemes such as surface codes and color codes.

  2. Develop and maintain quantum error correction simulation platforms, incorporating realistic hardware noise models to evaluate error correction performance.

  3. Collaborate on co-design of quantum algorithms and hardware systems to improve overall system performance.

  4. Participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and share knowledge and insights with team members.

  5. Track state-of-the-art developments in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing, and contribute to algorithm innovation and experimental implementation.

Requirements

  1. Ph.D. in Quantum Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.

  2. Strong foundation in quantum computing and quantum information theory, with solid understanding of core concepts such as qubits, quantum gates, and measurement.

  3. Strong interest in quantum error correction, stabilizer theory, and ZX-calculus; experience through coursework, thesis projects, or research is preferred.

  4. Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++), with willingness to learn new technologies; experience with quantum simulation frameworks (e.g., Stim, Qiskit) is a plus.

  5. Strong mathematical modeling and algorithm development skills, with solid foundations in linear algebra, graph theory, and probability.

  6. Excellent learning ability, problem-solving skills, and rigorous logical thinking.

  7. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
